The House - Basement Remodel**Updated

Work has now begun on transforming part of the basement into a bedroom and a living room.  So far the work has been messy.  When I have the time, I am removing hundreds of staples from the ceiling left over when Tony removed the ceiling tiles.  Slow tedious work.  This picture shows some staples.
This picture shows 4 rows that have all the staples completely removed.

Another job that needs to be done is filling in the cracks around some of the cement blocks.
Tony had to grind out some of the old mortar covering everything in dust.

Hopefully this weekend he will get to filling.  Then I can start painting using waterproofing paint!  Our goal is to be installing 2x4s over Christmas break.

Tony's filling the cracks:
 All mudded up.

 First coat of waterproofing paint.
When Paul got here, it said we should take off the white plastic and fix those cracks and paint the remaining yellow part.  Something we forgot to think about but glad he caught it.
Now all  painted and ready to go.  The bedroom:
 The living room:
First wall up in the bedroom!
