Planning for the Collapse of the Economy!

Last Saturday I canned a lug and a half of Colorado peaches. They turned out great. I finally have a system figured out. Unfortunately, our garden wasn't successful this year so I wasn't able to can our own tomatoes. Luckily, Dad has supplied us with some.

The First Day of School - 2011

Today is the start of a new school year. The girls are off to school! Alexandra is in 2nd grade and Addison is in kindergarten. I am taking the year off from teaching. I am excited to be able to spend the time with my boys. I will keep you posted on how I am handling it. Tony also has a big year ahead. Since I am staying home, he will be teaching full time as well as being the principal. Time will tell how much we will see him this year. Can only one man be an amazing teacher, principal, and father all at the same time? Let's hope so!

Out front with the flowers. Unfortunately the flowers don't look as good as last year. Don't they look good in their school clothes. I am so glad to be back to khaki and polos. No more fighting!

I am going to give this blog thing another go. A lot has happened since the last time I posted anything. I have changed the look of the entire site. On the right side of this page are links to pictures of our house and all the projects. Please check it out. I will do my best to keep this more up to date. Now that I am not teaching hopefully I will be able to. Enjoy!
