Welcome Asher Aaron

It's a boy! Asher Aaron was born February 24th at 6:59 pm. He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches long. I think teaching in the morning and then going on a 3 mile walk with Dad and the girls got things going. We were lucky to pick Tony up from work, drop Dad and the girls off at home, and get to the hospital in time; Asher was born just a little over an hour after we arrived!

Asher is Baptized

On Wednesday, March 4th, Asher was baptized during chapel at Zion Lutheran School. We wanted to share this special moment with all of the school children. Here is the family with Pastor DeLoach. Sponsors Aaron and Natalia Splittgerber and Brian and Jeannie Schmidt were not able to attend since it took place in the middle of the week.

The 5th-8th grade students had a baby shower for us that afternoon. We were amazed at the generosity of all the families. We are blessed to know such wonderful people.
